Professional Background

Simon is a Director of the firm having started as an accountant with Mitchell Partners back in 2003. He has spent over 20 years in public practice and developed a broad range of skills applicable to businesses of all industries. He enjoys partnering with clients to help them achieve their goals, whilst still providing assistance and support on the day-to-day issues. Always looking to provide timely and accurate information to his clients, enables them to make the right decisions for their business.

Simon’s experience includes advising on all tax related matters including income tax, goods & services tax (GST) capital gains tax (CGT), fringe benefits tax (FBT), payroll tax and land tax.

He also has extensive experience in Management/Board Reporting (including budgets, variance/trend analysis, cash flows, investments) and in business advisory such as purchase/sale of businesses, restructures, asset protection/tax planning strategies as well as general advice on profitability, systems/controls, etc.
